At CrossFit Torsion, we believe fitness should make life better — not busier. Our mission is to help everyday people move well, feel strong, and live healthier for years to come.
The Coaches
The coaching team at CrossFit Torsion brings together years of experience, genuine care, and a shared goal — helping every member move better and live stronger. They’re here to guide, support, and celebrate your progress every step of the way.

CrossFit has allowed me the opportunity to share my passion for health and fitness with others. It has provided me with an avenue to meet new people and genuinely help them with aspects of their life that are tangible and rewarding. I have come to meet new people from all walks of life and have developed many great relationships from them. I have always been a service-oriented soul and my profession in Law Enforcement has allowed me to create a life out of it. However in law enforcement, the efforts of our work are rarely immediately recognized. You just have to have faith you are helping people in some way, somehow. CrossFit allows me to see the fruits of my efforts up front and in real time with real people.

My passion is to help people. That can look different depending on the person. Need a kick in the butt - I got you. Need a hug and permission to be awesome - I got you. Want to prove to yourself you can - I got you. Want to work hard on things you aren't good at - lets make a list and start checking things off - I got you.

Crossfit challenges you both mentally and physically. The first mental challenge is getting started. Once you start, commit to getting fit. There is no "get fit quick" plan. It is a process that occurs over time. Workouts can be challenging, but the results of your work can be so very satisfying.
I enjoy coaching people of all fitness levels. Everyone of them has a fitness journey, I want to help them on their way.

When I joined the military in 2011, I thought I was in shape. I was 17 years old, “worked out” with my friends at the school gym for sports. When I got to basic training I failed our first physical fitness test, my nickname was “fat boy” and by week 2 I called my family and was ready to come home. I told my parents I was going to tell them I wanted to quit and go home, but during that phone call my parents talked to me and mentioned that “nothing in life that’s worth doing is going to be easy”. This was going to be a challenge for the next 8 weeks but I really didn’t want to quit, I ended up sticking it out and now (11 years later) I am a commissioned officer for a trauma team for the Army and I help people in my unit who struggle with the fitness test. Doing the hard things and sticking it out is something I pride myself on and I always encourage our athletes to do the same!
Coaching is important because everyday we have an opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. Maybe that’s to help them get one more rep, run a distance that they have been working towards hot a lift that they have been chasing but it goes beyond that for me. Athletes may need to just have someone to talk to about nutrition, or maybe they had a rough day and just need to “blow off steam”, whatever the case may be, we are given the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s day or life each time they walk through the doors and my goal is to ensure that all athletes who come to my classes have the best experience during their hour class each day.

Her coaching journey took a real turn when she saw how the strength built inside the gym — both mental and physical — started showing up in people’s lives outside of it. Confidence, resilience, grit... the kind of strength that doesn’t just lift barbells, but lifts people through hard days, big decisions, and everyday chaos. That’s when she realized this was more than a workout — it was a chance to build better humans. Through words of encouragement, tough love (when needed), and leading by example, she’s made it her mission to help others discover what they’re truly capable of.
The belief that “I can do hard things.” That’s the kind of transformation she lives for — and she’s made it her mission to guide others through it. For her, it’s not just about the weights and jump ropes. It’s about mind, body, and spirit. It's about helping people overcome the fear that CrossFit is only for the “bros,” and showing them that strength is for everyone. Whether you're brand new or just finding your footing, she’ll meet you where you are — with encouragement, accountability, and just the right amount of tough love.
